w-7? I send away my w-7 along with a notorized copy of my passport is this enough or do I need to file a tax return as well.. I am supposed to be getting my 2010 taxes gifted to me by my employer

In most cases, the Form W-7 MUST be submitted with an annual tax return to get an ITIN issued.

However, if you are working under a work visa (H or L) or are an international student working OPT or CPT, you should be eligible for a SSN.
