I get the error message "SYSTEM ERROR The document cannot be printed due to a system error. Try printing again. If unsuccessful, restart Windows and try printing again."

I get this message whenever I try to print anything from any program. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my printer but that did not help. The printer works fine when I use it on another computer. I have XP on my computer.

I found this answer on techrepublic.com and it worked great.

To resolve the issue, follow the steps below.
1. Right-click on My Computer, and select Properties.
2. Click on the Advanced tab.
3. Under Performance, click Settings.
4. Click the Data Execution Prevention tab.
5. Select the Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select: option.
6. Click Add...
7. Browse to C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3\hpzeng0 7.exe and click Open.
8. Click Apply.
9. Click OK, and OK again.
