An acquaintance in Sarasota has issues with the water from their well. The water has high e-coli bacteria. Not sure if it's coming from the well itself or poorly maintained aeration tank, or pressure tank. I don't think any maintenance has been done on the pressure tank or other components, except some Chlorox bleaching, since they bought the house 6 years ago. The family has had issues with tumors, lung disease, passing out in an air tight shower/ sauna configuration (maybe H2S? ) and other ailments. Can anyone recommend a reputable water treatment maintenance person in the area to check out their system?
