For some reason my upstairs guest bathroom is not getting hot water. The weird part is when you turn on the hot water, nothing comes out at all.

So imagine a sink with separate cold and hot knobs. When you turn the cold knob, cold water comes out as normal. When you turn the hot knob, nothing happens. No water comes out what so over. To go along with this, the shower is also not producing any water. However the shower is a single knob and when you turn it on nothing comes out.

My first thought is that the pipe is frozen. I am in Dallas and it has been cold the last couple days. But its has only been below freezing for about 24 hours when this started and it blows my mind that the pipes would freeze so quickly. I lived in Michigan for 20 years and never had pipes freeze even when the power went out in winter for several days.

To make things weirder, the master bathroom is upstairs and right next to the guest bathroom and everything in their works just fine. Hot water comes out of the shower and the two sinks in the master bath.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have no idea what is going on.

Have you shut off any valves thinking they were shutting off an outside spigot? Also, have you had any work or maintenance done recently? If so, there might be a valve somewhere that didn't get reopened.

Since it is Wide Spread faucet than following may have happened:

Stems and spout are connected with short, flexible, water supply. These short supplies are looped. What happens is that water supply on hot water side gets hot and kinks, preventing water flow. Get inside cabinet and check this connector out. Remember, it is NOT the main water supply connected to your angle stop but the short supply connector between Stem and Spout. Let me know how you did... Milo
