Ermm, I'v been with my boyfriend for nearly five months now... I know it's not very long, but I don't trust him one little bit. I'v been hurt a lot in the past, not only from my ex's. Will I ever trust him? They say there's no love without trust, but I do love him. Help??

Me and you have a lot in common sweetie... I was like this once an to be honest you either learn to trust him or sooner or later your just going to push him away and loose him :( (that sucks believe meee) I think what you need too do is just talk (if he's the kind of guy that will listen) and then if he's not then ha id kick him back in the pond but anyway talk to him... open up tell him how you feel, if he cares and loves you he will understand... if not then maybe its best too say goodbye hope this helps xx

Has he given you any reason not to trust him or is the mistrust simply because of actions of other people in the past?

No reason at all... It's just because of other peoples actions in the past

If you can't overcome your own demons, then you're not ready for a relationship with anyone, not just him.
How you considered going to get some professional help? It's time to dig a little deeper to help yourself.
Furthermore, if you really do love him, then I'm sure you can give him some time to build you trust. Anyway, trust is earned, not given. If you really like him, then it shouldn't feel like a burden to be a little patient with him.
But you should still address your own insecurities. You also need to work on yourself to build your self-confidence. Plenty of self-help books out there too.
