Hello all.. I feel a bit odd asking this question.. Also embarrassed and totally terrified.

I read everything on the symptoms of pregnancy... And I don't have any of them.. My breasts aren't sore, no weight gain, no weird cravings, no cramps or back pains, no bloating, no mood changes, no spotting... no nothing... including my period

I haven't had a period for 3 months. My last period was Oct. 29th 2010, and it was HORRIBLE. Heavy bleeding, aweful cramps.. the whole 9 yards, not to mention long.

Prior to this period, I stopped taking birth control for medical reasons in Aug and didn't have a period for approx. 3 months which I have read up on and figured that was pretty normal after stopping birth control, which was the Nuvaring. I was on it for about 2 years. My periods have never been on schedule, but this is going beyond what I think is normal.

I'm going to take an at home pregnancy test tomorrow.. I'm also going to make an appt for the doc.. Personally, I think my hormones are jacked. But the more I read on symptoms of pregnancy and how some women have none.. the more worried I'm getting.

Should I be getting prepared for some bad news? Or is my body going crazy? I know none of you can diagnose.. but some words or wisdom are very needed!

While possible, it would be unusual not to have some type of symptom after three months if you were pregnant. Now whether you might have become pregnant within the last couple of months, only a pregnancy test could tell you.

It sounds as though your body is readjusting to coming off birth control, which can take several months for some women. Add that to having irregular cycles normally, it could be the reason for a lack of a period.

Certainly it merits the pregnancy test and a trip to the doctor's.

Well, the test came back Neg. YAY! I knew I wasn't..

Now just got to talk to a doctor and see what's going on.

Thank you for your advise DoulaLC :)
