I just moved into this 1 room apartment, and decided to put a ceiling light , a 2 bulb.
Just to fill you in, before that, and (still) , I had accidentally found out that the switch on the wall , was connected to an outlet, so I just got a cheapo lamp and connected there so it could be temporarily...
Well going back to the subject, I installed everything just fine, and when I turned the power back on, vualaaaa the lights came on OK, but the problem was that the switch was off, so I opened the switch box and started changing some wires ( there were 3 ground wires, 4 phase wires and 3 neutral ) , one of the phase went into the switch... so I just changed them to see if it would switch the ceiling lights on or off, according to the guy in the reception of my condo, he said the room ceiling is connected to the switch... so to bare the trouble of connecting reconnecting etc... I just disconnected every single wire in that switch box and turned on the power... for my surprise the light still got on, and the only switches in my room are closet ( different source ) and the room switch..
Can any one help me?.

Since you took all the wires apart at the switch box and the light continues to work, the cable at the light clearly comes form some other location. Perhaps it comes from the outlet that was switched, or beyond that it can come from anywhere.

All you can do is to start opening each light, switch, and outlet, disconnecting the black wires (hot) one at a time until you find the light goes out, then figure out how to install a switch where you find the other end of this feed cable.

This may take a while, and if your not proficient with working with wiring, you may be mucking things up in outlet boxes that are fine now.

What you can do is find X-10 devices to control the light. This will require you to install a receiver relay at the light, and a switch transmitter at the switch location. These device only need 120 volt power, and do not require any direct connection between each other. The transmitter sends out a signal on the power wires, this signal seeks out the receiver, the signal triggers the relay, and turns on the light.

Do a web search for x-10 devices, you can learn how they work and where to purchase them. Some of the big box hardware stores carry them I believe. This would be a lot easier than tearing apart every outlet box in a place you are only renting.
