Every time my dryer runs the main breaker trips. I have 125 Amps on the main and 50 on the washer/dryer. It used to be 25 amps. Even with the new washer/dryer it still trips the main. Do I need to get a new box that will run higher amps from the main?

Are you saying that the main 125 AMP breaker trips but the 50 AMP for the dryer doesn't? Dryers are usually wired 30Amp, 240 Volt. If that is the case, you have something wired wrong. You went from 25 to 50-did you also upgrade the wire? You use a #10 for 30 and a #6 for a 50.

What you are saying is kind of scary. Want to tell us more detail about what you have done?

Either the Main is overloaded, or there is a loose connection at the Main, and the heat caused by a loose connection is causing the breaker to trip.

Need to call in an electrician to troubleshoot this issue.

Also have the dryer circuit checked to be sure it is wired properly.
