Hi,
A few days ago I was going into work at Walmart. As soon as I started my shift the Store Manager came by and asked me to go follow him to the back. He escorted me to the back office and introduced me to two gentlemen that were from loss-prevention. The gentlemen spoke to me for a long period about theft and such. I then confessed to them that I took 6 to 7 ipods in total from the time I started working there. They then told me they were going to investigate further into this and see if there is anything else that may have been taken. They then gave me the restitution agreement form, to agree to pay back walmart the 2 grand. So I signed it agreeing to pay on a plan basis instead of right away. The Manager then made me sign a form telling me I'm banned from the store for a year, and he let me go. The Loss Prevention guys then told me that the Police will likely come by sometime during the week, and speak to me. I am in so much disbelief right now that such a thing has occurred for my stupid stupid actions. I am 21 years old, I have never been involved with the police, and quite frightened about the situation. What could I expect from all this, and what shall I do?
