My puppy is 3 months old and he does not like ANY food. I have tried like 5 different dry puppy foods and 3 different wet foods. I have mixed them together too. I have tried adding milk and warming his food so it is soft. He used to love jerky I made myself (plain old chicken and venison for him) and he won't eat those as treats any more. He seems to like sweet potatoes, but only if I put a dash of cinniamon on them, and now he is not even really eating that. The only thing he will eat is triscuits. And I try not to even give him those. When I get food out he waits in excitement and then I put it down for him, and nothing! He is FULL of energy and is at his perfect weight, but I don't want him eating people food. The vet just looks at me in frustration because I give him jerky and offers no solutions. Any ideas?? Thanks!

"I don't want him eating people food" and "potatoes, but only if i put a dash of cinniamon " seem to contradict each other. He has tated people food and now that's what he wants. The problem was created by accident but by you. Exercise him for at least an hour of vigorous walking or jogging. Tire him out then let him cool down, now give him a bowl of whatever dog food you're comfortable with for thenext year. If he gets tire he will get hungry and he will eat almost anything at that point. For now stop with all treats and jerky.

You need to stop offering people food, and put down his dish with the hard kibble and walk away. A healthy dog will not starve himself. He will eat when he realizes you aren't going to offer any thing better.
