First and foremost, I pay all of my childsupport faithfully and I am working on an arrears of 2500! I took care of my daughter. For the most part the first two years of her life and when the ex found out I was dating again, she became inraged and extremely jealous. I submitted papers to the courts for joint custody. And for the lack of better words "Hell broke loose" Her parents encouraged everything and bought and expensive lawyer. Needless to say I got nothing and she rubbed it in myface by relocating my daughter across the states. Now she is threating me every second I turn around to sign over my rights o she will continue to take me to court for every little possible thing. I am tired of going back to court! She doesn't let me see or barely talk to my daughter anyway! Should I sign over my rights? And if I do, at that point would I be able to have an agreement with the ex that all past debts be dissovled? I would only think that would be fair. Thoughts?

You should be taking them back to court,

1. did you contest across the state lines, they could not do that without your permission

2. force visits, they are in contempt if they don't allow

But no past debts ( support) is not cleared if you sign rights away
