My girlfriend missed her period for almost a month and two home pregnancy tests both done in the early morning and based on instruction appeared negative, and in fact, the possibility of getting pergnant is very low caus we two only had safe sexs except once which there was no intercourse i.e. it was a non-penetrative sex. Please tell us what could affect such long duration between the period ,and considering that her period last time was also happened in a 2-month basis,is it possible that she became pregnant. Please help us out here!

If you had sex, even with protection, than pregnancy is a possibility.

There could be a number of reasons that she's missed her period. Stress can make a woman miss her period, so can weight loss, weight gain, medication, illness, and many other things, including pregnancy.

When did she take the pregnancy test? It could be that it was just too early to test. False negatives do happen. Some women never get a positive result with an hpt (home pregnancy test).

If it's been a month with nothing but negative tests and no period in sight the next step would be to get a blood test done at the doctors office.

Good luck.

Both tests done after two weeks after the missed period and there is no other sign of pregnancy like breast softing or things likewise, what I want to know is whether it's possible to miss a period for about a month or even more??

It is possible, as I stated in my previous post. There are many things that can contribute to a woman missing her period.

If she tested two weeks after her missed period it's possible that it was just too early to test. Wait until the next period is due. If she skips that one as well then retest or go to the doctor for a blood test.

Just an fyi. Some women never get any of the pregnancy symptoms during pregnancy. I didn't with my first child, except for a missed period, that was my only symptom. The lack of symptoms doesn't rule out pregnancy.

You mentioned her last period was off as well. Does she normally have irregular cycles or is this recent? Do you know how often she usually has her periods? Some women naturally have irregular cycles on a regular basis, some will skip a period, or be late for one, every once in awhile.

No she doesn't have any unregularities for her periods usually but recently sometimes for stress or pressure she lost her regularities rhythm in her periods, but the 2-month period just happened las time which was the first period after we both left our country for study in other countries, that is the whole srounding climate changed completely, can this lead to irregularities?

Yes, moving, stress, all of those can contribute to irregularities in a woman's cycle.

When I went to Germany for 2 months at 16 I didn't have my period the entire time I was there, and I had always been regular. It can happen.

The fact is, we really can't tell you what's going on. It could be stress, it could be the change in living conditions, illness, weight changes, medication, so many things. The fact is, it could also be pregnancy, but there's no way for any of us to tell you which of these things is causing the missed period.

The negative pregnancy test could be because she tested too early. It could also mean that she's not pregnant. You'll have to wait and see. If she misses her next scheduled period then retest. We really cannot tell you for sure what's going on.

I wish you all the best and hope it works out the way you both want.

Good luck.
