We do have a fish expert and he should be along in a few days. In the mean time, I would get some Melafix and Pimafix. This stuff has done wonders for my tanks which seemed to have a high mortality rate after water changes. Those two products are all natural so they can't hurt them.

How long has the tank been set up? How often and how much are you feeding them? The guppy might be too shy to eat if there is an aggressive fish in the tank. What kinds of tetras do you have? (rainbows) could be very aggressive.
Hope this helps you
I have a nasty virus on my computer. I can not get rid of. It is (Kevin's money tree.org). Be careful of all attachments you open!! I believe I got it from this site.

My guppies eat a lot but you don't want to overfeed them and if your guppy isn't eating right it may need company or your guppy is sick if u have other fish
