Right before you get into the hole of the vagina.. on the outer part.. I discovered a hard, small round lump... actually it feels good to scratch a bit.. not painful but it seems to be growing.. it scares me... what could it be? I am 36. I am planning to see an obgyne soon but just want to to hear opinions or answers .thanks

As with any lump its important to get checked out by your doctor. It could be anything. But is its firm and growing at a reguler rate it could be a cyst. They can become very painful and must be handled properly. See your doctor right away as we have no way of knowing what it really is.

Go see a doctor. But before you worry yourself sick about an STD and accuse your boyfriend, keep in mind you could be experiencing any variety of problems. If you shave, and then have sex, your skin can get highly irritated and cause small infected bumps, or in-grown hairs which look a lot like acne.

If you do have HPV (genital warts (http://www.revirgination.net/vaginalwart.html)), or HSV (herpes (http://www.cdc.gov/std/herpes/)) you're not alone. Although these diseases can't be cured, both are extremely common and there are just tons of support groups out there.
