My laptop is a Acer aspire one but it is not a windows laptop. It will not connect to the router so I can use the internet. Why not?
Something used to pop up at the bottom of the page but it doesn't. Can anyone help me on what to do??

What is the operating system?

I have a laptop that is a Acer Aspire One netbook. It used to have something what popped up from the bottom of the page where it says WPA & WPA2 Personal and then it says Network Key and you have to type that in but it does not pop up anymore. I went onto preferences and clicked on Connection Management. I go to SKY65289 which is our router name and click Connect but it won't do it. Why not??
