I just met this guy at church I have seen him many times at the grocery store and every time I would see him he would stare a lot. Well today my mother and I decided to go to church and that guys was there and him and his mom sat in front of us. After church he walked outside at the same time as my mom and I and he asked for my name and number so I gave it to him and we have been texting ever since then and he just asked me "how serious are you about relationships?" and I just don't know what to tell him can you please help me?

I don't blame you for wondering what to say.. it isn't quite right to ask someone that question. I think most of us (who aren't obvious party types) are 'serious' about a relationship when someone we meet and like also likes us, and it evolves, and at some point can be called serious. Others never get off the ground, but does that mean you aren't serious about relationships? Not at all. Maybe what he's asking is if you feel ready for commitment with one person at your age, if you are young. That's none of his business. He should get to know someone and get a sense of how serious they are through what they say and do.
You could answer him with some rephrasing of what I wrote, if it feels right to you.
Or you could just say that you care about all your relationships, whether family, friends, pets, neighbors, teachers, church members, or anyone you know.

I would simply tell him that you're not interested in a relationship.

It should be presumed that texting and seeing each other now and again, isn't even a friendship yet.

How old are you?

You are attracted to this guy, but get to know him before you get carried away by your own feelings. HOW?

Simply ask him what he means by that question. Then listen to his response.

Then you will know he is fishing for your reaction to him. Be sharp, and smart and pay attention, to what he says and how he says it.
