Hi. I just had a daughter she is 5 1/2 weeks now. There is a possibility of 2 men being the father. One is white. One is black (brown skinned). I am light skinned. My daughter is brown skinned but her hands and feet are light & she has features of the white man, such as his hairline. She looks like me bt when she was first born her and the white dude took a pic together and look alike. I can't afford a paternity test right now. Can anyone help me?

The ONLY way you will find out who the father is will be with the test.

A paternity test is the only way to determine who the father is.

What is your relationship like with the two potential fathers? Do they both realize they might be the father? I would make sure they both know, if they don't already.

No they both knew I was pregnant but only the white knws he might be the father. He doesn't know there's another possibility. He thinks she's his. She has his bottom lip, hairline and chin. She has no features of the other man. The black man and his brother look JUST alike. So I figure their genes are strong. The only thing is she has darker skin. Sometimes she's kind of light. She has dark straight/curly hair. I just don't know

Also me and the black guy used protection.

I figured it's a possibility of being his because of her skin color.

Doesn't matter if you used protection or not. Anytime you have sex, even when using multiple forms of protection correctly, there is still always a chance of becoming pregnant. Protection just makes it less likely.

You owe it to your daughter and to both men to do the right thing and figure out a way to get a paternity test done.

What does the above underline mean? Yr Black, but light in complexion?

You can't possibly know by her looks, or their looks, or even skin color, so how would anyone here?
Ask each man to chip in half of the test, or start saving your pennies.
You can't have the tests without their cooperation anyway.
If one man seems eager to be her dad, and he turns out to not be, what will you do then? The other man may refuse the test and where will you be then?

I am white, black, & indian; with light skin. The white man also has indian in him too. His gma is a full blooded indian . She looks like him . Idont see the other man in her at all .

Looks won't tell you everything. I heard of a couple, both of whom were white, and had a black baby. Did a paternity test, and it was his. Turns out there was african ancestors on her side of the family, and they cropped up.

Jennie's story was sort of an extreme example of ancestor's genes popping up, but it really isn't that uncommon. For example, neither of my dad's parents had blue eyes, they both had brown. But his great grandfather had blue eyes. My dad, and some of my siblings and me all have blue eyes. So, looks can be deceiving. That's why the only way to be 100% sure is to have the paternity test done.
