Hi, I'm a first time "asker" on this web site.

My Windows Media Player freezes up right away while playing a video.
It DOES play fine audio (music stations, etc)

What should I do ?
I've already tried the "rebooting" method, and that did not work. (I removed the Windows Media Player 9, and reinstalled)

I feel so helpless !

Hello, I suggest you download and install windows media player 10
Windows Media Player 10 (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/10/default.aspx)

If this does not work, try downloading winamp
Winamp Media Player » #1 Media Player in the Universe! (http://www.winamp.com/)

Either of these should work, but try windows media player 10 seeing as your used to it:)

I just have Windows 2000, though. Do you think my system will still support it okay?
