I started depo in June 2010. From June to August I didn't have a period or bleed at all. I received my second shot at the end of August. The following week in September I started spotting... I spotted until December 16. My third shot was due November 12-26. I decided not to take it, because I bleeding. I admit to having unprotected sex from November 26-December 30 with my husband. Now it's January 21 and I haven't got my period and I'm having period like symptoms only weird symptoms I'm experiencing is frequent urination and super sore nipple/breast, and nausea. Now normally I get PMS, bloated, cramps, and sore breasts. However these all happen a week before my period not for four weeks? So I'm wondering if this is a side effect from depo and will I get my period next month. Ive taken numerous hpt's and they all said negative. The doctors won't give me a blood test because it says negative. Also all the STI's and UTI tests were negative. So what else could it be?

If you aren't pregnant, it is likely your body readjusting after having been on the depo. This can take a few months or a year or so for some women.
You can continue to try a pregnancy test every couple of weeks if you feel you continue to have possible pregnancy symptoms (especially if you are trying to become pregnant) or wait until your next period would be due and see if it shows. If not, try another test at that time.
Unfortunately, it may be quite awhile before your cycles return to normal.

Thanks, I will keep trying the pregnancy tests and yes we are trying to conceive. Is it possible for the pregnancy tests to show up negative because I still have depo in my system?

No, the depo wouldn't effect test results. Hopefully you will be one of the lucky ones who becomes pregnant fairly soon. Fingers crossed!
