I have two wall heaters I am pre-wiring before the insulation and sheet rock. They are in separate rooms, and each will have a wall mount two pole thermostat. One is 1500 watts, and the other is 2000 watts. I am using 12-2 wire, with a 20 amp two pole breaker.I am not hooking up the heaters, just running the wire to be able to insulate and sheet rock. Do I run the wire from the panel to the first thermostat box, then to the second thermostat box, then run down to each heater? Thanks Ken

I figured that might be the case, after I already ran the wire to the heaters and then up to the thermostat. Is there any way to fix my problem without tearing out the runs and starting over from the panel? The wire is not long enough to reroute.

The stats are two pole, and need a 2 wire 240 volt input (Line) and a 2 wire 240 Volt output (Load).

I have to assume there is only one two wire cable at each stat.

If this is true, then, no, there is nothing can be done other that adding the second cable.
