I am from nyc I am on ssi and section 8. I will be getting an inheritance that will be split by 3 two other sibilings. How will that affect my ssi and section 8. I personally went to ssi and section 8 asked this question and all they said was you have to wait and see how much you get. I told them 20 thousand which is a little more than I really will be getting and they said I have to wait and see.
I also borrowed money from friends to pay for a lawyer and other things. I have to pay them back will they take that into consideration? Why wouldn't they give me a senario of what could happen what's with the hush hush?
I would just like to know what can happen.
