Can anyone tell me how to solve code LD on my kenmore elite calypso washer?it kept stopping.today I had to vacuum the water out.

I actually have the same error message. Mine actually gave me an ob code first - to which I rearranged the clothing. Then soon after I received the ld code as well. The manual says that LD means "long drain - Is the drain hose kinked or clogged? Press stop/Cancel to clear the display."

I read on another website that a user removed a huge ball of lint in the drain hose when he received the ld error message. Occasionally I see lint in the washer after I run a load. I normally find it in the top part of the basin there's a hole to the right when facing the open washer.

Calypso is one of the worst machines out there... mine has had the issue 4 times... it's debris in the motor... its really easy to fix... just remove the drain motor... it has 2 ports in it... clean out both... you may need to fabricate a tool out of an old coat hanger... and clean it out... reinstall and you are good to go. This machine is notorious for this problem.
