View Full Version : Is 5 days the right amount of days I have to move my mobile home if I own it

I own my mobile home and rent a lot space i lost my job and filed for unemployment but they denyed me causeing me to borrow money from my family they have their own bills and can't help me out this time i informed my landlord he was very ugly and told me that is allowing me 5 days to move my trailor is that right

ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.

If you are behind in your lot rental then a 5 day pay or quit notice may be legal.

Where do you live... State and County. And exactly what did they say... precisely. It matters. AS Scott said a Pay or Quit is not a deadline to have the trailer out of its spot, but it is to pay what you owe, in full. But the eviction wlll be following if that's the case and its not paid.

The landlord isn't required or expected to foot your bills... they are however reqiured to serve you notice as required in your area. That is usually as little as 30 days from the date of notice... but it does vary. And you are still not imune from being sued for unpaid rent and or utilities.
