This one has been bugging me off and on for about fifteen years now. Back when I was a wee sprat, in the days when premium channels still came in kind of scrambled and fuzzy if you were lucky enough, I caught a snippet of a typical late-night Cinemax movie. This wasn't unusual, and I probably wouldn't have remembered it at all... except that back about six years ago I saw the same part of the movie while channel surfing. Unfortunately I was in a hotel at the time and didn't have access to a program listing, so I couldn't get the name then. Ever since, every now and then the memory bubbles back up and sits there laughing at me. So now I turn to you, o Internet.

Here's the one scene I remember: it seems to be set sometime back in the 1800s, judging by the set decoration. There's a man, white, middle-aged and kind of heavy-set, and two girls, one white and one black. They're frolicking around in the surf in their skivvies (which is mostly what gave me the impression of the time period). Then it cuts, or maybe it's just the next thing I remember, to the two girls in a bedroom, er, without their skivvies; one (the white one, I think) is brushing her hair, and then they commence to doing the sorts of things hot girls do in movies they show on Cinemax at 2:30 in the morning. Whatever dialog might have been in there I don't recall.

So far, the only thing I've been able to deduce for myself is that it wasn't any of the Emmanuelle movies. Anyone out there able to help me solve this mysterious mystery?

Solved - it was 'Black Venus' from 1983. Nice to have that out of my head.
