I live in a mobile home,I have plenty of preasure at my well, but inside my house,at all faucets and water outlets. When I turn the water on,the preasure is about half of what it is suppose to be.Then as it runs it gets lower. When I 1rst moved in,I noticed that there was rust in the lines every time we turned it on and would eventually clear out. There is a 1 inch line leaving the well going to the house.I thought maybe the reducer, 1 in to 1/2, coming into the house maybe stopping up or my water lines in the house are.If anyone has any suggestion they sure would help.

50lb.There is plenty of preasure on the water coming off the pump, and it cycles with the preasure switch.Like I said the water preasure coming out of my faucet at the well house, which is directly off the preasure switch,is good.Inside no good.

How cold is it where you are, any chance the pipes could be frozen?

It does the same in 100 degree weather.I am in N.C.The water was brown for days, when I first moved in,and it finally cleared up.Now U can see a little rust initially upon turning water on (just about everytime)and then it clears up.Home is 10 yearsold

The line running from pump house to your home, want material do you think it is, sounds like that could be clogged with rust

Its either 1 or 3/4 inch(I think its 1")Black plastic pipe.Do U think it would be more likely to be,were it reduces down.Should I cut the pipe at the reducer and find out?

Yes that's a good place to cut but make sure you have what you need to repair the ssplice in case you find the obstruction.

Sounds like polybutal pipe. Sounds like kink in pipe or crushed pipe. Sounds like rust in tank. How old is tank?

I didn't think about the poly pipe kinking.Poly pipe is known 2 do that.My tank is over 10 years and yes it has rust in it.I'll have 2 fix that while I am fixing my preasure problem.Be4 I start digging,I think Ill cut reducer @check 4 preasure@clog.

I was just thinking about were that kink in the line could b and realized that my water line is buried under my drive way,and I doubt that they put a sleeve around it.It could be that over a period could have mashed the pipe.
