I have a shi tzue that we rescued at 6 months old, she had been terrible neglected and punished. When I got her she had diarreah, had never pottied outside, only inside then punished for going inside, was never fed, only ate what she could find. I have had her for 5 months now, I got rid of the diahreah, she has had all of her shots, she is totally house broken, is now sleeping through the night, doing great with our other rescue dogs and cat,put her on a twice a day feeding schdule, like my other animals, was doing wonderful and now all of a sudden she won't eat anything except the training bones that I gave her for doing such a good job while I was training her. Is she just being difficult to get a long with now? Maybe even spoiled from all of the attention she was getting while being trained. Will eat some if I hand feed her, but I don't want to go down that path.

You are right, she now become accustomed to the attention, and is taking advantage in her own way; can't blame her really after having a hard life, she is showing spunk which you have to reward in some way but the thing is, yes, being difficult, trying to win you over. I would suggest that you maybe put just a tiny bit of food out for her, maybe so she will see that what she is doing isn't working the way she planned. She will get the idea that she hasn't bent you to her will, so to speak. You have to be the alpha and prove to her that you are.

Has she shown any other recent attempts at dominance, because I think this is what she is showing. Dogs, love them like all heck, are sneaky and sly. They do things like accidentally stand on your foot, lean againist you or jump up in the air in front of you. None of which are accidents at all, they are all shows of who is in charge. A trainer frioend of mine said when the dog wins one little show you got to win 10 new battles to get back to where you were. Dogs do not plan or scheme or worry about yesterday, they live for this one moment. Speaking of trainers have you considered any classes. I'd do something like that because it will take her back to the basics of who is Alpha in your pack
