Hello everyone!
My hamster had to go to the vet yesterday. He has a upper respiratory infection. The vet gave me some stuff called Sulfatrim for him ( a antibiotic that I have to give him orally). I pretty much have to hold him and make him eat it. Which I feel really bad for doing lol cause I feel like I'm holding him down and making him take a shot of crack, but only to make him feel better.
The vet also gave me some other stuff called Bene Bac. I have to give him that the same way, orally. Only have to give him 1/2 gram of that once a day. I hear that you can put this gel on their food and give it to them. I would hate to have to shove something else in his mouth lol.
So is there an easier way to do this? Has anyone ever experience a hamster with a respiratory infection. Advice would be very appreciated.
Thanks! And have a good one everyone!
