Hey guys My names Ian,
Well here's the story, I've been singing for a year or two now and I've played at some local bars and almost every single person that watches me play and sing has said I need to go on american idol and stuff like that. Or at least a lot do. And I'm not the type to make a competition out of what I love doing but I really want to get known and get on my way to being a proffessional musician. Its all I've ever dreamed of. So please let me know any suggestions of talent agencies or any type of connection to music society.

I would get over the idea that you shouldn't be competitive. Talent agencies are a thing of the past (and they want your money). Put yourself on YouTube for starters (good sound and video help a lot), start a Facebook page and invite as many friends as you know, keep playing local bars and clubs, and put some tunes on itunes.
