Ok, so I have always had irregular periods. They did not start until I was 14, and I only have a period about once per year and they last anywhere from a month to a whole year one time. But... I recently went to my gyno, and she did a trans-vaginal ultrasound, and lots of blood work, and of course the classic pap-smear... and everything came back A-OK. She perscribed me progesterone to try and regulate my cycle. And here is where the problem starts. I took the progesterone as she instructed (1 pill for 10 days for 3 months), and now I am bleeding heavier than I ever have before. It is painful, and it has been 10 days of super heavy bleeding. I am starting to get dizzy, I am pale, and I just don't even want to move but I do force myself to get up every 20 minutes to run to the bathroom. I am soaking through a super plus tampon and an overnight pad in that 20 to 30 minute time. What can I do to make it stop??

Go to your doctor. Or even the hospital. This is not normal, and you need to get it treated right away. It sounds like you are losing far too much blood. Get help at once.
