Hello,
We moved into a new house a month ago. We had something blocked in the pipe and our contractor had called one of his plumber and that plumber couldn't unblock the pipes. The contractor's plumber called another external plumber. This external plumber came on Saturday and he couldn't remove what ever was blocking the pipes. He said he'll come back Monday with a camera to see what was clogging it. When he came back on Monday his camera couldn't see what was blocking it. So then he changed the head of his fishing hook, something that looked like an arrow. Once he changed it, it went through the blockage. I don't know why he didn't use that arrow head on Saturday when he came. We saw some red thing but not sure what it was. Should the contractor pay for the plumber or us. He said it might be food but we don't bring food to the second floor washroom to flush. This is frustrating and upseting. I know there was a blockage but what could have caused the water to fall from the ceiling. If the pipes were sealed and OK and if there's a block, shouldn't the water just come up. We didn't have any water on the bathroom floor. We're concerned. Any ideas what could be causing it and should we pay the external plumber. Please help.
