I want to replace a non digital thermostat with a digital thermostat. The terminals on the stove where the two wires connect are labeled "TH" and "TH/TP" . The terminals in the thermostat are labeled "W" and "RH" (for a millivolt system). Would TH/TP on the stove connect to RH on the thermostat and the "TH" (stove) to "W" on the new thermostat?

Thanks,
Ron

You need to have a thermostat that is compatible for a millivolt system and is battery operated.

Hi:

I bought a White-Rodgers 1E78-140 battery operated Thermostat (heat only, non-program type). Think it will work just fine but not sure about which wire goes where. On the Thermostat: "W" and "RH" on the stove: "TH" and "TH/TP".
