I have a 5 year old Maytag Legacy #MAV208DAWW that seems to have injured itself. It will fill no problem, then after that everything stops but immediately after it stops you can hear a faint straining sound (no smell) for about 10 seconds. If it is advanced to spin right away still nothing but if the knob is pushed in as if to turn it off and wait 10 minutes then advance to spin it spins and drains completely. I found prior posts that were similar to this but they indicated a burning smell which was not present.
