I am almost 18 years old,and my periods have become very unusual.I used to have fairly regular periods for the first few years.Once a month, usually on time, just a bit heavy I suppose. But over the past couple years my periods have become more and more abnormal.I can't keep track of them anymore, they never happen when they are supposed to.I haven't had a normal blood flow,it's been extremely light,or spotty, sometimes barely noticeable. My period could happen one day, skip a few days, and then come back, and this some times can last from a few days to 2 weeks.Lately all my blood has been brown, not red.I can't remember the last time it WAS red.I have gone up to 6 months without getting my period.
As far as my life style habits go I am over weight.Which I hear often affects periods. And I am not sexually active.Since I am still in school my sleeping habits are usually horrible.I tend to get an average of 5 hours of sleep on school nights.Often less, often more, but not much more. When I do get a chance to sleep in there are times when I am caught up on sleep, but I still over sleep. It's like my body does not know when it has had too much sleep.I can EASILY sleep 10 hours, and still feel tired during the day.
Also another thing I'd like to add is that for many years now,I have gotten these very sharp pains in my vagina (and sometimes, but not often my anus) and it happens at random, and usually only lasts around 5-10 seconds. It usually only happens every few months are so,but it is extremely painful, and usually comes on so suddenly I am jumping out of my seat.
Help please?
