There a re a few references to movies on here like magic mirror and hugga bunch but that is not it. It must have been some time around 89 and it was a girl and a boy who I think had brown hair that went through the mirror in the girls bedroom into some magic place. I remember something about fruit on a manarin tree, something about glass and that they were trying to stop something bad happening but I can not for the life of me remember what it is called or the exact story line but the name of the film has been bothering me for years. Can anyone help? Again its not we sing or whatever that strange film is, its not magic mirror and its not hugga bunch - any other ideas? Someone out there must be able to solve this mystery? Oh please!

I haven't seen it, but my mrs says this sounds like "The Magic of the Faraway Tree"

Just checked it- similar story line but its not animated - this one seems to be such a tricky one to solve! I have seen quite a few references to movies but no-ones been able to name it yet. It's a late 80s, early 90s & not animated, other ideas?

Did you ever get a answer to this one? I have been looking for years as well for this and keep coming up with the Hugga Bunch and Magic Mirror but that is not it. All I remember is a brother and sister, the brother may have had a hat on that travel into the mirror in the bedroom into another land. It might have been during a song but not really sure. A couple years ago I remembered more but this is all I can come up with now but I remember loving it.
