I have been on my period for a month now. In November 2010, my period lasted 3 weeks. I ddin't menstruate for 2 weeks before beginning my current period. I am not on any contraception and haven't been in over a year. What can be the issue?

Irregular bleeding should really be checked by your doctor. There are a number of possibilities... endometriosis or polyps for example. If you are older, it could also be the start of perimenopause.
