I installed a Hunter touch screen thermostat and now nothing turns on. I was using a basic Honeywell and wanted to cut back on costs and bought this program unit.
I used matching color to letter for my 6 wire hook up that match my other unit. Also same as manual diagrammed. First day the fan blew but the heat wouldn't turn on and outside unit never kicked on, just the inside fan. Called Hunter 800 number and we did some troubleshooting and ended up worse than I started. Now when I change the temperature on thermostat clicks but the fan won't even come on now. I reset fuse breaker on inside unit, breaker in garage and even the breaker next to the ac unit outside, with no luck.
I am fed up with the Hunter and will just pay more for a Honeywell but what can I do to get the heat on for now? My old thermostat isn't even kicking on now either. AHHHHHH!

It probably won`t work with the Hunter tstat,, they are junk. If you do get it working you will be lucky if it lasts 6 months to a year. Hopefully you can take it back and get yourself a good Honeywell.they sell touchscreens also if that's what you want.
