I have irregular periods, doc put me on Provera for 1st 10days of month. I missed taking it in December and had no period. I took it in January as directed and still no period.. took pregnancy test and its negative.. what do you think is going on?

I have been on provera since Sept. I had periods every month except December and now Jan. I took a home pregnancy test this AM and its negative. Suggestions comments?
