Hi Could Some One Help Me With My Home Work Im 13

1.100 Gramms Of Water Boiled Into Steam How Many Gramms Of Steam Would Be Formed

2. 5 Gramms Of Salt Is Dissolved In 100 Gramms Of Water;what Would Be The Mass Of The Salt Solution Formed?

conservation of mass dictates that 1.1g of water boiled results in 1.1g of steam produced. The hot water vapor may appear to have no weight, only because its density is now less (mass per volume); it retains its actual mass.

the same goes for the salt solution: 2.5g salt + 100g water = 102.5 g salt solution
