It is for a Honda Accord with rear brake drums. I know that with some car parts its better to buy new rather than from the auto wrecker.

For the price of a new wheel bearing... repalace it. You don't know what the car the part is coming off us was subjected to in its last moments on the road... or somethimes even how many miles was on it. With a sealed bearing the risk isn't as great however. And the rear wheel bearing on Honda products are sealed bearings to my knowledge.

The rear wheel bearing is almost $200 new, so I am questioning whether it is worth it. I don't know how long I will even be driving this car anyway.

You can buy a new NTP “white box” rear wheel bearing, marketed by Federal-Mogul, from Advance Auto Parts for around $35, if you buy it online (for local pickup) and use one of their 40% off codes. They are simple to replace yourself in 30 minutes.

Be sure to get the torque specs for your Accord.
