How do you check to find out what is causing the car not to fire? Distribor, distributor cap, module, coil, etc. I have a 1991 Civic LX 1.5 L

Regardless of what the tests show, I would replace the ICM and coil, if they have 120,000 miles or 10 years on them--they are very crucial components. A failing rotor and/or distributor cap often causes the ICM and coil to fail. Therefore, check them out carefully, too.
