1.5 liter engine will turn over but will not start on it's own. If you spray carb cleaner in it it will start and run great after that. You then can shut it off and it restarts fine as long as you don't wait longer then 30 min. We swapped out distributors, fuel pressure regulator, fuel relay, replaced the fuel filter and verified the spark. What else could be the problem?

Thoughts:
1. Check the ignition system; i.e. ensure you have fresh NGK spark plugs installed and check the igniter and coil. Autozone will check these items for free. Check engine timing.
2. Check the fuel pressure. It should be 43 to 47 psi.
3. Add shell Regane or Chevron Techron to your gas to clean the throttle body, injectors, and valves.
