View Full Version : Office or paper bugs

Recently I am finding very tiny bugs crawling in my office. At first there were a few. They are so small you can squish them with one little pinky. They almost look like miniature ants or baby spiders, but I don't think that is what they are. THey are light brown and very soft. We have thoroughly cleaned the office and even sprayed insecticide, but they are still there and multiplying... At first, I thought it was from eating lunch at my desk. But I don't think so now. THey are all over my desk and seem to like papers and folders especially. Are they paper bugs? Is there a special insecticide that can be used?

These sound like "spider mites." A quick search will answer any and all questions you may have.

The most important thing to remember about these little nasties is that incesticide will not work against them; in fact, it may exacerbate the problem by killing their natural predators. You need to specifically use a miticide.
