Dna testing. When I was in the hospital in 1982 and after having my second child I was always given sedatives and not allowed to leave my bed or room to walk around. I felt strong enough but the nurses told me that it was Doctors orders for me to sleep more, and when I asked to see my baby they would all say they'll ask the doctor anyway on the day I was release they told me my baby would have to remain in the hospital fpr a day or two I agreed and so did my husband the cause was he had jandice and still I could not see him. I was wheeled to the double doors to leave the hospital and the doctor comes out to my husbands car with a child and said they decied not keep him, but if I were you I would get a DNA done. This child has been with me for 28 years and now my husband is dead and Iam distrot, this child has Prada Willie.

Please what should I do.

From what Im reading about it the doctor was correct in letting you know to have a DNA test done. And now that the diagnosis is confirmed then getting one done is very important thing for your child to do.

I'm wondering if you were asked to have genetic testing rather than DNA testing. They are two totally different tests. One is to determine paternity, the other is used to test for familial genetic defects.

You raised the child for 28 years, why worry about it now. Why did you not do something 28 years ago.

This is your child for more reasons than I could even think
