I live in Georgia. The guy I REALLY like lives in England. He's told me he likes me too. The Problem is that I just became pen pals with a girl from his church, and she told me she likes him too. What should I do? I don't want to hurt her feelings by saying something wrong or anything. Also, what if she asks me to talk to him about her?

Give up, move on and find some one more local and closer to your own peer group.

The thing about online long distance relationships among young people is that its all mental, and almost all the time subject to change.

Say nothing to her, but I think you are about to learn that up close, and face to face, is a lot better than long distance, and on line.

She has a huge advantage -- she lives near him. You are an ocean away and have never met him. You don't have to talk about him to her or about her to him. I'm sure they have a lot of real-life people in common.

I guess I should have been more clear. Or really, not even posted. I got worried when I shouldn't have. I didn't mention that 1. I have met him, and I've known him since I was five. We've been best friends since I was eight or so. 2. He not only told me he likes me, but he's given me special gifts - a personalized sanddollar one year, when I was looking all over at a bunch of beaches for one and never found one; an Edelweiss necklace which symbolizes love, bravery, strength, and determination. Thanks for the advice, but I just flipped out when I first read it but I had no reason to get upset.

That puts a whole different spin on things! If she asks you about him or gets too nosy about your friendship with him, change the subject. You don't owe her any personal information, even if she's your BFF.
