Minpin was an indoor dog, an overweight indoor dog. When he started to become destructive we changed him from indoor to outdoor. He then went from overweight to perfect weight, a size he stayed at for more than 2 yrs. But in the past three months he has gone from perfect weight to skin and bones. He eats the same amount of food, but his weight keeps going down. I know his age isn't helping, but what can I do to help him feel a little more comfortable??

What type of food are you feeding him?
Does he get daily walks?
Is he up to date on his shots?
Does the vet think he is underweight?

First stop is your vet to rule out anything medical.

If he comes back with a clean bill of health, than we can talk food and other possible issues. I'd bet it's health related though, and only a vet can help you with that.

Please let us know what the vet says.

Good luck.
