My faucet makes a singing noise when I turn on the sprayer, I called the company & they sent me the part, but when I took it apart I can't figure out where the new part goes. Its for the sprayer.

Neither can I from that sketchy description. I think you are going to have to post information like the faucet model, the part in question and probably some pictures in order to get help on this.

The spray diverter is usually under the spout assembly in the rear of the faucet. Here, if you can remove the spout assembly you should find it right around the back/bottom of the faucet.

Check it out and see if you can find it.

Otherwise, post the information Epmiller suggested and we'll see what we can find, OK?
