If I value numerous characteristics of different religions and have my own views on some things, but don't have a "god", what do I call myself?

Hi.I don't know if, this will be helpful but,I hope so!I feel the same way.Would you call it,"spiritually aware"... that isn't quite right... I hear people say that they believe in ,"all paths to God".I like to think of my "scattered" belief's as,my own personal, secret relationship with the big guy.It is frustrating, though. It leaves me wondering how to catagorize my belief's,too. There is no guide for us that we can open and read to confirm and legitimize every aspect of our belief's.It makes me feel pretty alone, sometimes. If,you ever find a word or good explanation, I'd appreciate you letting me in on it!Good-luck!

People who usually pick what to believe from different faiths typically do so in that they feel not everything is knowable from one religion. This is usually called being agnostic. Does this sound right to both of you?

I would be careful not to take the "all paths lead to God" way of thinking as MANY religions contradict each other in teaching. Just food for thought, if there is a BIG GOD IN THE SKY... why would he send so many "prophets" to us that claim so many opposing truths? Doesn't quite make sense. I'm not telling you which path to follow... I'm just trying to get you to second guess this type of illogical thinking.

You would be agnostic which means you are unaware of or believe in your own beliefs
