I shave my neck and it leaves red spots and or a red area. I have sensitive skin, but how do I get rid of it. Is there a special razor I should use or shaving cream or should I moisturize it with something? Please help.

I do. I use edge, but I'm not sure if it's good.

Some suggestions Sniper;
Using a gel shaving lotion in my opinion is best; heat a towel (microwave) and apply it to your face/neck then moisten your face with water and then lather the gel, let it stay on your face/neck for a few minutes before you shave.
Use one of the more expensive razor blades as they are sharper. Also, after you use the razor dry the blade on a hand towel as this makes the blade last longer and it does not rust thus losing its edge.
Have you tried an electric razor?
Some times it is also an allergic reaction, try changing the gel I found one in Bed Bath and Beyond that works great.
And I am afraid that it also might be age, I had this problem when I was younger and it seemed to dissipate in my late 20's.
You may want to see a dermatologist.
I hope this helped.

I personally love a nice hot latter but yes, hot water and towel to soften it up first, a high quality gel or a hot latter.
Also shave with the direction of the hair. Next don't use those 10 cent walmart razors, use some good blades
