Generally speaking, yes. However there is more detail needed to be accurate.

The type of insulation and type of conduit is needed.

The voltage is irrelevant, but do need to know is there if there is only the 3- #500 MCM, or is there an equipment grounding conductor also.

DEpending on the tpe of wire, yes. That being said may I ask what it is you are doing with only three wires?
