I got my girlfriend pregnant in early 2010 and her parents made her get an abortion can they still send me to jail even thought there isn't any evidence of that dude to the abortion becase they keep saying that if I keep talking to her they're going to send me to jail for satuatory rape and I'm wondering if they can still do it please help me out!!

Plenty of evidence, and is 16 year old is under the legal limit to have sex in your state, yes they can send you to jail, often it happens with very little evidence.

Next of course at 16 her parents can try and make her, but they can not legally make her have an abortion if she had not agreed.

Best bet, if 16 is underage in your area, stay away from the girl, ( if they made her get an abortion, they could easily make her testify in court that you were the one she had sex with, that is about all it takes)

First, ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.

But even if the law does not allow for a statutory rape charge, there are other charges that could apply if you continue to try and see the girl over her parents objections. Short answer is you screwed up and if you don't want to wind up with a criminal record you need to back off until she turns 18.

And if all else fails there's also interference with parental authority (called different things in different States).
